At MC, we have one passion providing notable design for our clients. MC has successfully managed projects with budgets of up to 200M, combining intricate architectural form with the best construction technique and the most demanding programs. McBride Charles Ryan prides itself in its hand son approach to its projects and believe that our buildings are bespoke manifestations of our clients' vision and it is due to this approach that our designs are truly singular. In a 'more is more' kind of way the project was unapologetic ally populist brimming with references and signs easily accessible to both architects and the public. 'Community Hall' entertained and jubilant in creating an inclusive space with an ambiguous threshold between art, architecture and popular culture. This is more than just a school, offering the local community a range of facilities that bind parents, children and staff in a civic and social enterprise which has succeeded against immense odds. Now the house could be described as anything but traditional. With a second concise to create a unique and joyous space, MC threw caution to the wind and came up with the ''cloud house''. This sensational home isn't impartial about looks it also fits the needs of a contemporary family. Absolutely breathtaking is also the Klein Bottle House by steady McBride Charles Ryan, where you can hardly distinguish the interior from the exterior. MC has extruded an infinity symbol to create this twostorey school building, looping together a village of learning centers around two courtyards. There is a personal reason behind their passion to create a building of hope for cancer patients and their families. Using a mathematical model, McBride Charles Ryan avoids square angles in a house in Rye. The building changes during the day and the seasons. McBride Charles Ryan has created an inspiring model for lenient density housing to accommodate collective individualism. Spaces were color coded as outer (the main living) or interior (bleached white). The unusually shaped house reflects a Klein bottle that has no distinct internal and outer sides. With Monaco House, a trivial gem that resides in Ridgway place, McBride Charles Ryan has again believed a building consistent with its design agenda and folio. The house was designed in such a way that nature was not merely a pleasing background but also an total part of the interior design and of the everyday dwelling experience. It is folded and joined like a portion of origami. Drawing inspiration from the social and cultural spaces of Victorian communities, Community Hall takes tradition to new heights through cutting edge architecture and dynamic programming. As a result their buildings reflect the educational and social principles upon which the school is based. Rob McBride worked closely with the school to ensure he met the schools requirements and facilitated changes to the creative master plan to deliver a building that exceeded the school's expectations. To have designed a building that has received the prestigious Victorian Architecture medal is a credit to his ingenuity. Fitzroy Lofty School reopened in 2004 with a specific mandate to explore innovation in education. The refurbishment of existing buildings went some way to developing a better fit between space and more innovative teaching and learning but were fundamentally designed in a different era for a diverse style of education. MC worked with the school community students, parents and teachers, to thrive fresh learning spaces that reflected the values and philosophy of the school and that better supported an innovative approach to teaching and learning. When students and teachers are provided with learning spaces that are designed to suit their needs, that are aesthetically pleasing and that foster positive, polite relationships, then teaching and learning is supported. Students and teachers have responded positively to the new learning spaces the provision of purpose built spaces has enabled both students and teachers to continue to thrive innovative approaches to teaching and learning that encourage deep learning by students.
